Commissioned Calligraphy: Preprinted Certificates

Hand calligraphy for pre-printed certificates. Rate $15 per certificate with a minimum total of $150. If your quantity of certificates totals more than $150, a final invoice will be sent for payment before the order is returned.

Your certificates will be returned to the shipping address provided on this order using the shipping service selected during checkout.

You may have the item shipped directly to us from your printer. Please contact us when you see tracking shows it as delivered (just to help us connect all the dots between you and your package). 

Once your item is received and complete calligraphy text is provided, orders typically ship from our workshop within two-three weeks (unless we have discussed other timing).

You may leave your calligraphy instructions in the notes section during checkout, include them in the package or contact us by email with a spreadsheet after delivery of the item.

Please have certificates printed on good quality, non-glossy paper to avoid ink feathering. Black ink will be used unless otherwise noted. Gold, silver, and colors are available upon request.

  1. Services | We will personally provide all the agreed upon services. We do not outsource to other artists without informing you first.
  2. Artistic Style| Upon contracting services, you should have spent time reviewing work samples to know that you like and trust our artistic style and abilities. You can be assured that your project will be created to the same quality as the samples you see. 
  3. Handwritten Work | Please keep in mind that, unlike computer-generated text, the beauty of handwritten calligraphy is the natural variation in letter form and layout. A hand will not make each letter exactly the same every single time. These variations result in every piece of writing being a unique work of art.
  4. Photography | You are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to share images of our work on social media. If sharing on Instagram, please tag @inkmethis. Sharing is perhaps the very best way you can help an artist and a small business!
  5. Payment Schedule | Orders of $500 or less must be paid in full in advance to secure the calendar time. Orders over $500 require a 50% non-refundable deposit with balance due before shipping. The final product will not be shipped until payment in full is received regardless of agreed-upon project completion date. For projects of a digital nature (i.e. logo design), payment in full is due before work begins.
  6. Quantity Changes | If the quantity of guests/product decreases after payment of the 50% non-refundable deposit, the agreed-upon rate is not adjusted.
  7. Text Submission | The provided text will be written exactly as submitted. Please ensure that you have thoroughly reviewed and edited all text before submission. 
  8. Refunds | Please understand that once work has begun, refunds are not possible. If an error is made on our end, please contact us immediately upon receipt of the item.
